The Fairies

  1. Hey there, Elizabeth! This is the absolute first time I've ever looked at your blog. For real.

    When I saw this poem, I thought "Wow, that's neat!" And then I thought "Where have I seen that before? The first bit sounds familiar." And then I remembered:

    In 'Willy Wonka', when Charlie is looking through the gate at Wonka's factory, a creepy knife-vendor walks up behind him and recites the first four lines, and then says: "Nobody ever goes in. Nobody ever goes out."

    Wow.
