Negative first, of course!
a. The sweater's polyester. I do not like polyester. It's also a little thin...
b. The skirt is a little too short to look good with the top. It goes past the knee, but the cream and the beige are of pretty equal parts, and the skirt is A-line, so it creates an illusion (I hope!) of width, instead of height. I think my ideal skirt for this outfit, would be a pencil skirt of the same color, and about four inches longer.

Positive:
a. My complexion is Autumn, and some of my best colors are brown and cream.
b. I love the retro style of the sweater-blouse-skirt combination and the shoes!
c. I got the whole outfit for only a few dollars!

Very cute! Both of these look like outfits I would wear. You gotta love a good denim skirt! I also HEART brown anything, so that jacket is wonderful. I agree with you that a pencil skirt would probably fit better with the second outfit, but I've had a lot of difficulty finding modest-fitting pencil skirts!
ReplyDeleteI love the school girl look! You look lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lydia!
ReplyDeleteLike the looks, cool you took of a picture of in what scene you could wear it in!!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable outfit! I like how you used the old books as "props." :D I collect old books and find great pleasure from just browsing through them (of course I read them too!). ;D
